How to Choose the Right Makeup Artist in Ibiza

There are a lot of makeup artists in Ibiza.

Some are incredible, some are newer, and most will have a beautiful Instagram. So at first, everything can look quite similar.

The difference usually shows once you start thinking about the actual experience.

The first thing I’d always look at is consistency.

Not just one or two standout images, but how their work looks across different people, different lighting, different settings. Ibiza is bright, warm, and very real. Makeup needs to hold up in all of that.

Then it’s how they talk about their work.

You want someone who explains things clearly, understands timings, and can guide you without overcomplicating it. Especially if you have a group, or a full wedding morning to plan.

There’s also the feel of it.

You’ll spend a good part of your morning or event with this person, so it needs to feel easy. Calm energy, organised, someone who reads the room and keeps things flowing.

And finally, how the makeup actually wears.

It should look like skin, feel comfortable, and still hold hours later. That’s the part you don’t see on Instagram, but it’s the part that matters most.

As an Ibiza makeup artist, that’s always what I focus on. Not just how it looks at the start, but how it feels and lasts through the whole day or night.
