What’s the Best Time for Hair and Makeup on Your Ibiza Wedding Day?

Timing It Right for a Relaxed Wedding Morning

One of the best things about Ibiza weddings? No 5 AM wake-up calls. Unlike other parts of Europe where ceremonies happen earlier in the day, Ibiza weddings tend to start later meaning you get a more relaxed morning to enjoy getting ready.

But even with that extra time, having a well-planned hair and makeup schedule is key to keeping everything smooth, stress-free, and perfectly timed. Here’s how to get it right.

1. What Time Should You Start?

While there’s no one-size-fits-all answer, I always recommend working backwards from your ceremony time. A good rule of thumb is:

  • 2:00 PM ceremony → Start hair & makeup by 9:00 AM

  • 4:00 PM ceremony → Start by 10:30 AM

  • 6:00 PM ceremony → Start by 12:30 PM

This allows plenty of time for getting ready, photos, and last-minute touch-ups without feeling rushed.

2. How Long Does Hair & Makeup Take?

I allow 30–45 minutes per service, depending on the style. If you’re having both hair and makeup done, expect around 1.5 hours for the bride and 45 minutes per bridesmaid or guest.

3. What About Larger Bridal Parties?

If you have a big bridal party, I can bring in additional artists to ensure everything stays on schedule. Having an extra set of hands keeps things moving efficiently, so everyone looks and feels their best without any stress.

4. Factor in Photos & Final Touch-Ups

Photographers love capturing those just-finished moments, so I always recommend being fully ready at least an hour before you need to leave. This gives time for bridal portraits, dress adjustments, and a few last-minute touch-ups to keep everything flawless.

5. I’ll Plan Your Full Schedule for You

To make sure everything runs seamlessly, I put together a detailed hair and makeup schedule for your big day. This keeps the morning calm, organised, and fun—so you can sip champagne, enjoy the moment, and step into your dress feeling incredible.
