Ibiza Wedding Morning Timings: How Long Hair & Makeup Really Takes
One of the quickest ways to change the feel of your wedding morning is timing.
When it’s planned well, everything flows. People are relaxed, there’s space to enjoy it, and no one feels rushed.
When it’s not, you feel it straight away.
This is usually where hair and makeup come in.
How long does it actually take?
As a general rule, I allow around 30 to 40 minutes per service.
That’s enough time to create something properly, without rushing, and still keep the morning moving at a good pace.
For smaller groups, one artist can comfortably cover up to 6 services in around 3.5 to 4 hours.
Once you start adding more people, it’s less about squeezing more into the same timeframe and more about building the right team around you.
What this looks like in real terms
If you have a larger group, I’ll bring in additional artists so everything runs smoothly.
For example, for hair and makeup across a bigger bridal party, a team of 3 or 4 keeps things feeling calm and organised rather than busy or rushed.
The aim is always the same. Everyone is ready on time, and the morning still feels enjoyable.
Your “ready by” time matters more than anything
Everything is built backwards from this.
Your ceremony time, travel, photos, all of it feeds into when you need to be finished.
Once that’s clear, I map out a schedule that works for your group and your space.
It’s not just about fitting people in, it’s about creating a timeline that actually feels good on the day.
A small detail that makes a big difference
If someone is ready early, it’s completely normal for makeup to need a light refresh later on.
That’s why I often build in a touch-up slot towards the end of the schedule, so everyone goes into the ceremony looking exactly as they should.
It’s a small thing, but it changes the overall finish.
Why this matters in Ibiza
Ibiza mornings are rarely simple.
Different locations, heat, longer timelines, people coming and going. Having a clear, well-paced schedule keeps everything feeling under control.
That’s where experience really shows.
Final thoughts
Hair and makeup timings aren’t just about getting everyone ready.
They shape the whole energy of your morning.
When it’s planned properly, everything else falls into place.
