The Wedding Trial
In my experience as a professional bridal makeup artist in Ibiza, I believe a trial is essential to ensure that we discuss in detail your look, what suits your skin, hair, and any other ideas you have in mind. During the trial, we'll have ample time to examine your dress, review any inspirational images you love, and perfect your chosen look. Opting for a trial is entirely up to you, but it makes your wedding day run smoother when we have a clear idea of exactly what you would like.
We'll also discuss timings and create a schedule that I'll send before your big day, so your bridal party knows what time to be ready in the makeup chair. If there's a specific lipstick you'll need to touch up during the day, purchasing the one we used ensures you have it on the day. Bring any hair accessories you plan on wearing to the trial, and I can incorporate them into your style. Don't worry if you haven't decided yet; we can sort that out on the day too. While I don't supply hair accessories or flowers for the hair, I have contacts I can put you in touch with in Ibiza to help.
As an experienced bridal makeup artist, I can recreate any look for any skin tone, so rest assured we have all bases covered. I come to you, and all I need is a chair, a table, and some light to get started!
The Wedding Day
Before your wedding day you will receive a detailed schedule for timings for the hair and makeup appointments, it's important everyone is told before the day so we can stick as closely as possible to the timings and everything will run smoothly. We always allow extra time than what's really needed just in case people need to change around so don't worry about being too strict but it's a good guideline.
Everybody should have clean skin, no makeup and clean, dry, brushed hair unless they have booked in specifically for a blowdry. Depending on the style, and your hair type it is usually advisable to wash your hair the night before but we can discuss this beforehand.
The bridal party are the first to have Hair & Makeup on the day as we like to spend more time on the Bride and yours will be done just before you put your dress on. We will be on hand right til the end to add all finishing touches, give a last minute lip touch up or help with veils,flowers etc.
Ibiza Wedding Day FAQs
Do you travel anywhere on the island? Yes, at no extra cost we come to you wherever you are for your trial and on the day.
Do you sell makeup? We don't sell the makeup we use but will write down anything you would like to purchase and help you source it of course.
How long does the makeup last? Your makeup should stay on for the entire day. We have years of experience working in the heat so can use airbrush foundations if it's humid which have amazing lasting power and with primers for eyes you can be guaranteed a long lasting look for the big day.
Do you supply hair accessories/flowers for the hair? We don't have these but have contacts who we can link you with to help with any flower crowns or hair pieces.
Do I need hair extensions? This all depends on your chosen hair style and your own hair type. You may need some for volume and it's best you get these colour matched specifically yourself before the big day. We can advise and help with which are best for you.
