I had the incredible opportunity to work as Rachel Clark’s personal makeup artist for both the Craft Award BAFTAs and the star-studded BAFTAs, where she triumphantly walked away with an award alongside the esteemed Kate Winslet for their exceptional performance in “I Am Ruth.” It was an honor to be part of Rachel’s journey and contribute to her unforgettable red carpet moments.

For both events, we aimed for a classic and timeless look that would accentuate Rachel’s natural beauty. I decided to go with a classic red lip and liner, which added a touch of sophistication and glamour. To complement her stunning makeup, we created Hollywood waves that I have to say gave Rachel the look of Marlene Dietrich and she tells me a producer at BAFTA said the exact same thing to her when they met.

Working closely with Rachel, we  crafted her makeup to ensure it perfectly harmonized with her stylists choice of suit for the occasion. The combination of a classic red lip and liner with the timeless Hollywood waves created a striking and unforgettable look.

I recently had the pleasure of doing the makeup and hair for my beautiful bride Danielle, who got married last Saturday at Can Gall Agroturismo. Danielle and her four bridesmaids opted for a natural and glowing look, with shimmery golds on the eyes that complemented their beautiful dresses perfectly.

For Danielle, I created a half-up, half-down hairdo with gorgeous waves that gave her a stunning, effortless look. For her makeup, I used only the best luxury products to make her feel truly special on her big day.

The bridesmaids were split into two groups, with two opting for high buns and two going for low buns. All of them framed their faces with romantic “wispy bits” of hair. Their makeup was also kept simple yet elegant, with a focus on highlighting their features and giving them a radiant glow.

It was such a joy to work with Danielle and her bridal party, and I was thrilled to be a part of such a special day.
