As an Ibiza-based makeup artist, I’m used to working with clients who appreciate the natural beauty and eco-conscious lifestyle of the island. So when my friend Sophie Dakin approached me to do the makeup for her sustainable fashion brand Ada Dakin’s latest photoshoot in London, I was thrilled to bring some of that Ibiza magic to the city.
The shoot took place in a trendy studio in the heart of East London, and I couldn’t wait to get started. Sophie’s designs, made from sustainable fabrics and ethically produced in the UK, were gorgeous and unique, and I knew my makeup had to complement them perfectly. I went for a natural and glowing look, using earthy tones and a touch of shimmer to highlight the models’ features.

Kerry was a ball of energy and her bridal party just as fun! She wanted to look glam and gorgeous and so we did just that.
Kerry is a lover of makeup especially a smokey eye. I used my MAC warm eyeshadow pallette mainly with some sparkles from Charlotte Tilbury too. She wanted a full base so we use Nars Sheer Cover to create a natural but full coverage base. I like even the stronger bases to look like natural skin and this is more than achievable with Kerry’s beautiful skin to start with! Kerry’s bridesmaids all loved lashes and big eye makeup also so using Tatti Strip Lashes we went for a full lash with some thickness too.
Kerry had her hair all up in a romantic chignon and as you can see looked every bit the perfect bride.
Jade is a lover of all things makeup and having worked as a makeup artist herself was super clear with the look she wanted. As it happened it seems we had super similar taste in products using Armani Luminous silk as a base with Charlotte Tilbury’s flawless finish underneath to create a gorgeous glow. I then used Chanel’s Universal Bronzer, which is an all time favourite of both Jade and Myself, to create warmth and contour in a super natural looking way.
Jade wanted a soft smoke on her eye and we finished that with a PrimaLash full lash which added ultimate glamour. With a natural nude lip her look was complete.
Jade’s hair was simple Hollywood waves and her luscious thick hair meant it really lasted the night away.
A true glam rockstar wedding Jade was an absolute dream client to kick the season off with!
